Trinket Plate
This small trinket plate is perfect for your rings or other fine jewellrey.
This is an Orthoceras and Ammonite fossil, and this plate contains an Ammonite at the top which is slightly raised above the oval shaped plate.
It’s really an extraordinary piece because it’s made from a marine substrate from about 350 Million years ago and has been cut out and polished.
Orthoceras were squid-like sea creatures with a pointed conical shell (fossilised here in these pieces) that lived in the oceans of the Devonian period.
Fossils are wonderful tools to help work through the past and past life issues. They offer strength, courage, and encourage transformation. Water can help us work through deep emotional issues and wash away anything we no longer need to hold on to.
